REGISTERED TEST GROUP

A registered test group is established for the purpose of planning and implementing out-of-competition doping controls and preventive action, taking into account risk assessment and the intelligent testing. RTG consists of athletes of the highest rank, who will be tested within the planned testing schedule, and who are required to enter their whereabouts into ADAMS. Athletes, in addition to the national RTG, can also be in the RTG of their International Federation in a particular sport.

In accordance with the WADA International Standard for Testing and Investigations, each national RTG athlete is required to enter their whereabouts through ADAMS every three months, to update that information as necessary so that it is accurate and complete at all times, and to be available for testing at the specified location.
