Celebrating Play True Day

Since 2014, every year in April, the anti-doping community around the world gathers to celebrate Play True Day – a day dedicated to clean sport and raising awareness among athletes, the sports public and others about the importance of preventing doping. The inspiration for Play True Day comes from an educational conference organized by WADA in 2013, in which 17 Latin American countries participated. What started as a small South American initiative is now a digital campaign that reaches millions of people every year, with the participation of numerous individuals and organizations from around the world. Each year, more and more sports organizations, national anti-doping organizations, and international sports federations are involved in the celebration of this day, to show the unity and solidarity of the anti-doping community in the world through the idea of clean sport. This year, the Anti-Doping Commission is also joining.
