FINAL ANTI-DOPING LECTURE FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 2025 HELD AT WOMEN’S HANDBALL CAMP

On July 4th, 2025, the Anti-Doping Commission held its final educational lecture for the first half of the year, as part of a women’s handball camp. This event marked another important step in the Commission’s ongoing efforts to prevent doping through education and awareness among young athletes.
In relaxed and engaging setting, young handball players had the opportunity to learn about the fudamental principles of anti-doping- including what doping is, whic substances and methods are prohibited, how to testing process works, and the serious consequences that doping can have on both health and athletic careers.
A key message deliverd during the lecture was the importance of knowledge and personal responsibility. Athletes were reminded that they have the right to compete in fair and healthy enviroment, but also a duty to uphold the integrity of sport through their choices and behavior.
The session was highly interactive, with participants asking insightful questions and sharing their thoughts, which enriched the discussion and highlighted the value of open conversation about these topics at the early stages of an athletic journey.
We thank the organizers of the women’s handball camp for the invitation and collaboration, and extend our appreciation to all the participants for their attention, curiosity, and positive energy. We believe that this kind of education plays a crucial role in building a new generation of athlets who are committed to clean sport and fair play.
The Anti-Doping Commission will continue its educational activities in the second half of the year, with the same mission: to protect and promote the values of the clean, fair, and ethical sport.
