Today, the office of the Antidoping Commission of Montenegro was visited by the director of the Anti-Doping Control Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ADA BiH), Mr. Nikola Čiča.
During the meeting with the director of the Commission, Neda Ojdanić, experiences related to the implementation of antidoping procedures, the practical part of controls, and the application of rules in antidoping were exchanged. The discussion also covered ways to further develop athletes' awareness of the importance of fair play, preserving their integrity, and protecting the integrity of sport as a whole.
The importance of close cooperation between national antidoping agencies and commissions with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was particularly emphasized, as it enables a unified and coordinated system on a global level. It was also highlighted that continuous mutual communication and support among agencies in the region are of utmost importance, as joint efforts contribute to the better implementation of antidoping programs and the strengthening of the sports system overall.
This visit once again confirms that only through cooperation and the exchange of experiences can we build a strong front in the fight against doping and preserve the core values of sport.
