An anti-doping education session was held at “Slobodan Škerović” High School for students of the third grade of the sports department, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of respecting the rules and taking care of health from the very beginning of an athletic career.
The education was delivered by Dr. Stefan Mikić, who, through a professional and interactive lecture, introduced students to the basic principles of the anti-doping system, the risks associated with the use of prohibited substances, as well as the importance of being informed, taking personal responsibility, and adhering to ethical standards in sport.
During the session, which was attended by 20 students, it was emphasized that anti-doping culture and proper sporting habits are developed from the earliest sporting days, and that knowledge and health protection are the foundation of long-term and successful athletic development.
Such activities contribute to the prevention of doping and the promotion of the values of clean, fair, and healthy sport among young people.
