Yesterday, at the premises of the Montenegrin Anti-Doping Commission, the Commission’s educators held a specialized anti-doping education session in sport, focusing on the basic principles of anti-doping, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, doping control procedures, and Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).

In the field of anti-doping in sport, Montenegro is increasingly positioning itself as an example of good practice, with a particular focus on education and prevention from an early age. The anti-doping education model developed by the Montenegrin Anti-Doping Commission has attracted the attention of the international expert community and prominent figures from the world of sports journalism.

From 22 to 25 December 2025, a training program for educators of the Montenegrin Anti-Doping Commission was successfully conducted at the Commission’s premises, with the aim of further enhancing knowledge and strengthening capacities in the field of the fight against doping in sport.

An anti-doping education session was held at “Slobodan Škerović” High School for students of the third grade of the sports department, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of respecting the rules and taking care of health from the very beginning of an athletic career.

Participation of the Montenegrin Anti-Doping Commission at the Sixth World Conference on Doping in Sport The Sixth World Conference on Doping in Sport officially concluded on Friday in Busan, Republic of Korea. As the most significant global event dedicated to strengthening anti-doping policies, the conference brought together representatives from more than 180 countries, including governments, sports institutions, accredited laboratories, the scientific community, and international organisations.

The Antidoping Commission is part of the First National Sports Forum in Podgorica. The Montenegrin Olympic Committee and the Sports Commission of the COK have launched the first National Sports Forum, which is being held on November 20th and 21st at the Hilton Hotel in Podgorica.

The Antidoping Commission of Montenegro and the 'Slobodan Škerović' High School have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, recognizing their common interest in the area of doping prevention and promoting the values of sports integrity among young people, as stated by the Antidoping Commission.

“Naš zadatak je da čuvamo te vrijednosti i da mladima pokažemo da je pravi put onaj koji vodi kroz rad, disciplinu i znanje. Komisija za antidoping biće čvrsto posvećena toj misiji, autonomno, stručno i transparentno”.

Today, the office of the Antidoping Commission of Montenegro was visited by the director of the Anti-Doping Control Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ADA BiH), Mr. Nikola Čiča. During the meeting with the director of the Commission, Neda Ojdanić, experiences related to the implementation of antidoping procedures, the practical part of controls, and the application of antidoping rules were exchanged.
